The reason for the title is yesterday was so much fun it completely felt like a Sunday and not a Wednesday. Justin saw a kite at 7-11 the other day for only $5 so of course he bought it thinking we'd have a lot of fun with it. Now mind you neither one of us has flown a kite since we were probably 10 years old (which we all know was a long time ago) so I knew this was going to be an interesting experience. Yesterday was a nice day cause there was a breeze so we thought we'd be able to fly the kite...the only problem is that Justin got a trick kite and was having problems and it seemed that the only time the wind blew super hard was when he got done running down the street trying to get the thing to fly. It got up a couple times but when it did it would hit one of the big trees and go back down. I would say that it was an epic fail but Makenzie had a blast running up and down the street with him and even tried to help (eventhough that didn't work either)
It was a fun filled afternoon of attempting to fly a kite, playing in the dirt, basketball and football with the neighbor, relaxing a little bit, Makenzie hanging out with the big kids in the neighborhood and her favorite past time...running around like a crazy person!!!
I know there's a lot of pictures but I couldn't just choose a couple because I loved them all. I know you don't mind looking at them because I know I have the cutest kid ever!!! Hahaha
