Sorry...

I'm sorry, I know I've been slacking!!! One of my New Year's Resolutions is to keep up on this more. I've just been super busy with work and all the holiday stuff. Here are some new pictures of "Little Jackie"

Amazing....

It's amazing to me how much your life changes when you have a kid. You get excited to wake up in the morning (not so much in the middle of the night) to see what new thing your kid is going to do next. We actually have a Christmas tree this year. I honestly don't think I've had one in probably 10 years. I just want to make sure that Makenzie enjoys all the holidays like I used too, and with her being here has made not just me but all of us make sure we have a good Christmas!!!

We took her to see Santa Wednesday and just like I thought she hated every minute of it!!! I was watching the news that morning and Santa was on and all Makenzie could do was stare at him and waved at him so I thought everything would be ok. I was completely wrong!! As soon as we walked up to him she started screaming. Since I didn't really want to pay for a screaming baby picture we ended up making it a family portrait. Hopefully next year she'll be ok with him so we can get a good picture. My scanner doesn't want to work right now but once it does I will post the picture.

It's amazing to me how fast time goes when you have a kid!!! I can't believe that Makenzie's gonna be 1 in a couple of weeks!!! Sometimes I sit here and wonder where the time has gone and then it hits me...Makenzie!!

Makenzie now walks all the time!!! The only times she really crawls now is when she wants to get somewhere super fast. She has also learned how to just fall on her butt so she doesn't get hurt which I'm super happy for!!!

Meghan's mom is in town so you know what that means....LOTS OF CUTE PICTURES!!! As soon as I get them I will post so y'all can see how much she changes.

1st steps

So Monday night Makenzie took her 1st couple of steps on her own!!! She was so cute doing it!!! I took a video but I'm having a hard time getting it onto the computer, but once I do I will put the video up. That's really all that's been going on around here.

Happy Halloween!!!

We decided to dress Makenzie up as a little puppy. I honestly think it's the cutest thing ever!!! I'm glad we decided not to go out cause Makenzie was only in her outfit for 20 or 30 minutes and she was sweating like a crazy person!!! We just dressed her up and took pictures. It's ok cause she can't eat candy yet. Next year we will be going out!!

Sleepy Time Part 2

I found a new hobby!!! It's to take a picture of Kenzie every night when she falls asleep cause it's always in a different position. Sometimes I wonder how she's even sleeping that way!!! Hope ya'll enjoy the different sleeping positions of Kenzie!! Haha

The past 2 nights when I lay Kenzie down she plays in her crib for a little while then passes out. As you can tell she completely passes out!!! I let her be for a little bit and go and check on her cause I know if I let her sleep like this all night her whole body would be hurting!! Of course being the nice mom that I am, I take a picture or two before I move her!!! Haha

Kenzie loves shopping!! I love how she is such a good baby and doesn't cry and scream every 30 seconds like everyother kid that was at the mall!! I guess being there for 3 hours completely tired her out!! She shopped til she dropped!! Hahahaha
