Happy Halloween!!!

I don't know where to begin with how to describe how trick or treating went. I think I'll start with it was better then I thought it was going to be. We had 14 people in total and only 2 of them were kids...Me, Justin, Makenzie, Mom, Kendra, Chris, Gwen, Sandy, Christen, Meghan, Shawna, Noone, Sade and Karisma. I felt pretty bad for the people opening the doors cause there was usually like 10 people standing there. Hahaha. I think Makenzie and Karisma had fun and they sure got a lot of candy!!! I think the best part of the night was Sandy..she decided that she wanted to grab the extra basket and trick or treat herself...Now the reason why I say it was the best part was because she'd tell the people that it was for Makenzie's brother who couldn't make it out!!! Hahahaha and just to clarify I'm not pregnant or anything Sandy just wanted the extra candy I think. We had Makenzie dress up and Little Red Riding Hood and of course she looked adorable. Last minute at work I decided I wanted to dress up so I just went as a football player since I had a jersey at home.

All in all I believe Makenzie's 1st trick or treating experience was a true success!!! Can't wait to see what next year will bring!!!

Grandma's Bday @ Deb's

Sunday night Deb had a surprise birthday party for Grandma and it was great cause she really was surprised when she pulled up and all of us where standing outside. The best part about it was that was the day that mom and Kendra came in so they were able to take part in the family festivities!!

New kitchen...

Charlie's girlfriend Julie gave Makenzie this bad ass kitchen set. She said it was her sons but it looks brand new to me!! When Makenzie got home from day care she ran right up to it and said "ooohhh pretty" she's also done that with the couple of other toys Julie gave. Once again just wanted to say thanks!!!

Pumpkin Carving

Pumpkin carving was a success!! Makenzie at first was a little cranky but Chris was awesome and finally got her to put stickers all over her pumpkin. Of course since it was Justin, Meghan and myself carving it kinda turned into a competition for the best pumpkin. Justin finished his first and was watching me do mine, and when I was trying to get a piece off he helped me but he pushed a little hard and put a big hole in the pumpkin. He tried to sabotage my pumpkin!! Haha just kidding he felt so bad that he ended up doing another design on the other side.

When you carve pumpkins of course you have to make pumpkin seeds (which Chris and Justin have never had) and they turned out awesome!!! Looks like our first pumpkin carving party turned out to be a success. Now I can't wait until Trick or Treating time!!! There is going to be a big group of friends and family coming with us and the funniest part is Makenzie's gonna be the only kid and probably the only one dressed up. She's gonna look like a celebrity walking the neighborhood!!

Pumpkin Picking...

Tonight we went to Celebration to pick out some pumpkins. Just so everyone knows I am super excited to be carving one this year!! No idea when the last time was that I did it. Found out that Justin and Chris have never carved one before so I'm going to get 2 more pumpkins so we can have a pumpkin carving party!! Makenzie had a blast looking at all the decorations and pumpkins and once she found the one she wanted she wasn't letting it go!!!

I'll post some pictures in the next couple of days when we finally carve it.
