Night Out

My wonderful Mother In Law said she'd keep Makenzie over night on Saturday so Justin and I could go out. I haven't had a night out in forever so it was wonderful!!! Here are a couple of pictures.

So this morning I had what you might call a "bad parent moment". I was packing Makenzie's diaper bag this morning and couldn't find her changing pad and said "shit" all of a sudden I hear Makenzie say "sheet" with a big smile on her face. So for a couple minutes I kept saying "shit" and she'd say "sheet". Then I snapped back into parent mode and stopped.

I mean seriously can anyone really tell me that you haven't done that before?? Hahaha

So my wonderful friend Stephanie is determined to make sure Makenzie loves her. How determined you ask? So determined that she came over yesterday with a drum set. Not only is it a drum it has like 8 other loud ass things with it. As you can tell from the videos Makenzie loves it all.

Hi!!!

Sleepy baby

Makenzie had a little cold for the last couple of days and all she wanted to do was sleep. She fell asleep on the rocking chair with me for a little bit and then she woke up, got down and went to sit on her princess chair. I was pretty excited because I thought she was finally going to be awake. Boy was I wrong!!! 2 seconds after sitting in the chair she was out again. I let her be for a little bit while I put her laundry away but then I moved her to her crib and she slept all night. Mind you she first went down at 4:30pm and was probably only up for a total of 10 minutes between then and 8:30am the next morning. I feel bad when she's sick but I'm not gonna lie, I do love all the sleep that I get. Hahaha

Makenzie's bangs were getting so long she had trouble seeing because the hair would just stay on top of her eyes so Justin trimmed them up. I'm not gonna lie I was super nervous but they both did a good job!!

Daycare Update

OK so Makenzie is the youngest, biggest and get this one...she's the bully!!! Isn't it usually the youngest kids get picked on not the other way around? She'll sometimes walk up to another kid and push them and just walk away. She doesn't want their toy or book they have she just wanted to push someone. Haha. Now yesterday I went to pick her up and the teacher said Makenzie had her cracking up all day because she was a super nasty bully. I guess a couple of the kids had a case of the runs yesterday so the teacher kept changing shitty diapers. Anyways, Makenzie was the next kid to get her shitty diaper changed and what does she do while she's waiting?? She walks up to a kid that's laying on the floor and sits on his face!! Hahaha that's just completely horrible!!! Thankfully today when I went to get her, her teacher wasn't there so I didn't get to hear the bully story for the day!!!

Friday she had her 1st picture day at the school. Her teacher had to go with her cause she cries with anyone besides her. She said that for a while Makenzie was super cranky and wanted nothing to do with taking pictures but then they got her to calm down so she thinks there should be a good picture. Once I get those in I'll be sending some out but I'll also post one on here for y'all to see.

I think that's really all that's been going on around here. Such the exciting lives we live. Haha
