1st day
So today was Makenzie's first day of day care. I was super nervous this morning because I thought she was gonna scream bloody murder when I left (which is what she does from time to time no matter who is watching her) Anyways, when we got there we went into her classroom and when the teacher took her she started to get cranky then she saw the other kids playing so she went over there and I snuck out. As I was leaving one of the teachers told me that I can call at anytime to check on her but the best time is after 12pm cause she would have already done the morning routine. So that's exactally what I did. Carol (the owner) answered the phone and told me that Makenzie cried a little after I left but by that time it was time to play outside so she forgot that she was crying and enjoyed running around in the fresh air. She really didn't want to go down for a nap and when I called it was nap time and one of the teachers was sitting with her in a rocking chair trying to get her to sleep. Makenzie's so used to being on her own schedule that it might take a little while to know that there's a new sherriff in town. Hahaha. I think she just wanted to play play play!! So all in all I think she's really gonna enjoy it once she gets used to having a certain routine!!

Makenzie the thief!!
She stole 2 of Meghan's things on 2 different days. Here they had chick a fil for lunch and as soon as Meghan put her drink down Makenzie took it and ran to the other end of the couch and drank it.
Then the next day, Makenzie got a hold of one of Meghan's bras and put it on like a back pack and started running around her house!!

I think we might have to be careful now whenever she goes to a store cause who knows what she's gonna take and us not know it! Hahaha
Daddy pool day
Justin and Makenzie had a good day at the pool. She loves our little pool no matter how ICE COLD it is! She was teaching herself how to get in and out of it without busting her ass. I think she did pretty good after a while.
The pool completely tired her out. I mean seriously how tired does a kid have to be to fall asleep in her highchair?

We're back!!!
I know I know i'm a horrible person but it's not my fault!! The computer was down for a long time and i've also been super busy with work. I know what your thinking "yea yea excuses excuses" I'm sorry! Now the computer is finally working so I'll get ya'll caught up on everything.
Makenzie now has pretty much mastered the fine art of climbing on EVERYTHING!! Our couches are a little high so she doesn't do too well on those but give her basically anyone else's couches and she's golden. She can climb up on the rocking chair (even with it rocking back and forth) she gets up on her toy chest in her closet and stands up and pulls on her clothes. I really don't like that one cause one good pull the whole entire shelf full of crap is falling right on her. Her only problem is that she really hasn't quite figured out how to get down. She kinda just stands up on whatever she climbed and looks down and wants to take the big step to get down. Yea that wouldn't turn out good at all!
We finally had to cave and sign her up for daycare. She's going to a place called Children's Castle. It's pretty cool cause Justin and his sister went there when they were younger so it's kinda like his Alma Mater. Hahaha. I think she's really gonna like it. I know I am because there's no more stressing about where she's gonna go and no more packing a diaper bag cause they supply the food and I just gotta load them up with diapers and some wipes. That's gonna be so awesome! I'm happy too cause then she'll get to play with other kids and make friends. I'm just scared cause we all know my child is a very tall kid I just fear that the other kids are gonna make her look like a giant. Haha I know it won't happen (well hopefully). She starts on Monday so I'll let you know how that works out. Hopefully I won't cry!
There really hasn't been too much going on around here. I believe those are the only "major" things. I'm going to start posting some pictures tonight. I'll try to make sure that this sort of thing never happens again!
