I am so glad we got her a small dog. He's so good with her even though I know she drives him nuts!! She chases him around the house for eternity, picks him up basically by his neck to put him on the couch or her bed (I know it's bad and we are trying to get her to pick him up by belly and she's finally starting to do that from time to time). All I know is Makenzie absolutely loves him and I think 99% of the time he loves her too.

Favorites...

One of Kenzie's favorite things to do now is sit in the fridge and drink her chocolate milk, eat grapes or basically just do nothing but sit there. I know she can't be saying that she's hot cause the house is always freezing. Oh well she's a strange kid hahaha

When me and Kenzie were driving home yesterday she tells me that she kissed Jerek (a boy in her class) on the shoulder and was really proud of herself too!! Holy crap the boy craze is starting already. We will definitely be in some trouble when she gets older. Haha

Kenzie's photo shoot part 2

So last week I got the super cool iPhone 4S. Kenzie loves it cause she can now watch Mickey mouse (which she wants to do 24/7) and it has a double sided camera so she can see herself while taking pictures. I have probably over 100 of these crazy self portraits so I decided to share some of them with everyone. As mom told me last night and many times before kenzie is gonna be pissed when she gets older over all the stuff I put on here so why not add fuel to the fire?!?! I love you Makenzie Jayde :)

So today on the way home Kenzie was singing me Old McDonald. But with her song I learned a new verse...according to Kenzie Old McDonald had cheeseburgers!! For about 5 minutes all I heard was Old McDonald had a cheeseburger. Guess she thinks he's super fat and loves to eat lol

Last day at Sandy's

Being at Sandy & Chris house was really nice, it was like being on a little mini vacation even though we were only 10minutes away from home and still had to work. I think Kenzie had the most fun there cause she loves the pool. Everyday when I would pick her up from daycare she'd say "I want to go to Sandy's pool' and pretty much everyday we were in that pool. On the last night there Sandy made us promise her that we would do this once a month and of course I said no problem. I know they were happy that we were there but I kinda think they were even happier to see us go cause you can't really do anything calmly and quietly with a 2 year old and a dog. Even the past couple of day's Kenzie keeps telling me she wants to go to Sandy's pool hopefully all the crappy rain will stop so we could go over there one afternoon. 

Happy 4th!!

So since our water decided to burst and flood out the garage 2 days before the 4th, our annual block party got moved to Sandy's since they were nice enough to take it 3 squatters and a dog. It was tons of fun with good people like always . Of course since we were at Sandy's the boys had to play a game of poker. I mean what kinda party would it be there if there wasn't any poker?? There was swimming, hanging out with good friends and family, BBQ and tons and tons of fireworks. 

When it started to get dark we went nextdoor to Karen's house so we could watch the fireworks on the lake and it was pretty cool to watch everyone else blow stuff up but after 20 minutes we had enough and wanted to blow up our own stuff!!  So the whole gang went back to the front and all the guys were in heaven acting like little boys setting stuff on fire. Kenzie on the other hand wanted nothing to do with them at all. All day all she talked about is fireworks and how they go boom boom and make pretty colors but when it came time to light them she wanted to be inside. She stood in Sandy's front room with all the windows and watched us from there she even brought her baby cause she didn't want her to miss them. Haha guess she got that from me because Sandy told me when I was about her age I hated fireworks. I would put my blanket over my head and hold my ears until they were done. Hopefully she'll grow outta it by next year. On the other hand the other kids were loving it and were even holding the sparklers. At one point they would be running towards the fireworks as the boys were running away. Hahaha

All in all it was a wonderful 4th of July and I wanna thank Sandy, Chris and everyone who came out and had a good time!!!
