Makenzie the Drama Queen...

The other day when I went to pick up Makenzie, Jessica tells me she has a story to tell me about my new drama queen. She said that she was changing a kids diapers when Makenzie starts yelling "Jessica Jessica Jessica Boo Boo" Jessica saw she wasn't crying so she finished with the other kid then walked over to Makenzie. Meanwhile during the couple of minutes she was waiting she kept yelling "Jessica Jessica Jessica Boo Boo". Finally she gets over there and asks Makenzie where her boo boo is and she pulls up her pant leg and it took Jessica a minute to find the tiny scratch on her leg. Jessica touched it and right then Makenzie says "All better" and runs off like nothing happened. Oh we are gonna be in trouble if she's a drama queen already!!!

Sade did us a huge favor and watched Makenzie today. Thinking of watching two 2 year old's all day kinda stresses me out but it looks like Sade's got it under control and they are having a blast. She's better then me cause my one 2 year old stresses me out. Haha

Kenzie cleaning...

We got Kenzie a toy Kenmore vacuum for Christmas and she loves it!! Everytime one of us vacuums she grabs hers and says "Kenzie vacuuming". Is it too early to get her to use a real vacuum?? Hahaha

Shawna..I mean Meghan

Yesterday and today Makenzie has had an obsession with Shawna. Meghan stopped by after work today, walks in and Makenzie runs right up to her yelling "Shawna" and gives her a big hug. I would say for like the 5 hours she was here Makenzie only called her Meghan maybe twice all the rest of the times she was Shawna. Of course Meghan didn't find it funny but I thought it was hilarious!!! Makenzie would say "come Shawna" and you hear Meghan yell "I'm Meghan"!! It probably didn't help that I would be cracking up everytime this happened. And let me tell you that it must of happened about a million times.

I just really wanted to write this so we'll remember it years down the road.

Yesterday Makenzie wanted to hang out in the back room with Justin and Marty. Justin got up for a second and Makenzie jacked his seat and his bag of chips. Hahaha

Makenzie 2011

I thought I'd write about some of Makenzie's favorite things from this past year and we'll see how much she changes over the next year...

She loves her "Choc Molk" (also known as chocolate milk to normal people). She would drink it all day long if you'd let her.

Favorite shows: Yo Gabba Gabba, Barney and Monsters Inc

Favorite foods: "Colors" (also known as Fruit Loops), Nuggets, Bananas, Macaroni & Cheese. Actually she really doesn't discriminate on food but those are her favorites that she'd eat all day if you'd let her.

Loves running around like a crazy person (but what else can you expect from a kid?)

You pull up to a fast food place or a drive thru ATM and she yells "nuggets" (OK well maybe that's not her favorite but it's one of mine)

Loves watching football...she'll yell "touchdown" and "kick it". Of course her favorite teams are Da Bears and Gators!!

Those are some of the all time favorites. 2011 was a blast and I cannot wait to see what 2012 brings!!!

Makenzie's 2nd Birthday Party...

Once again it was time for Makenzie's birthday party. OMG where has the time gone?? It really feels like we just had her 1st birthday party. Sandy and Chris were awesome and let me use their house again for her party and I'm so thankful!! All the time leading up to the party I was stressing out really bad but Stephanie was awesome and got to the house before I did and help me set up. Chris of course wanted to cook (I think it's more so cause Sandy got him a really cool apron that said "Look what Mr. Good Lookin is Cookin) but it's never a bad thing when he cooks cause his food is great!!! I really don't know why I was stressing cause the party I think turned out awesome everyone seemed to be having a good time.

I must say 2 things though...1 - we have some awesome family and friends that are always down for a party (even if they are hung over cause it's New Years Day) and 2 - I'm an awesome party planner lol.

All day Makenzie kept walking around singing herself Happy Birthday. It was so cute! I tried to take video but she'd stop when she saw the camera pointed at her.

I truly believe that Makenzie had the time of her life at her party!! She didn't nap all day and around 6pm she started to get really cranky cause she was coming down from her sugar rush but come 6:30 she was out cold!!! Put her in Sandy's bed and she slept there for about 2 hours until we left then she fell back asleep finally around 10 and slept all night until 8am!! I was super excited cause that meant I was out probably around 11 until I had to get up for work this morning. Boy did I need that sleep cause the party tired the hell out of me!!!

Christmas #4

Last night was our crazy family Christmas at Kathy's. We had to have it late cause Doug wasn't going to be home in time for Christmas. Kathy must have thought that a million people were coming cause there was SOOOOO much food!!! To make things easier on all of us we did a secret santa and it worked out perfectly!! That was our last Christmas party for the year. Got Makenzie's birthday party then we are finally are with events for a while!!!

Don't worry I'll be taking plenty of pictures at her party and will try to post them right away!!!
