Kenzie's 1st baby shower

Last night was Justin's friend Jorge's baby shower at Alligator Alley. I'm sure y'all don't know what Alligator Alley is but it's a castle here in Kissimmee that they made into a country bar. I know y'all are probably thinking " you took the kid to a country bar"?? Well that wasn't my intention at first. Kathy was gonna watch her for us but when we got there the bar pretty much wasn't open and there were a ton of kids so I went and picked her up so she could play with the other kids. Only problem with that was she was attached to our hips and didn't wanna run around with the other kids. Haha I think she had a blast though cause she just kept dancing.

Family picture day...

This past Tuesday we went and took family pictures and boy was that fun haha. Makenzie pretty much wanted nothing to do with taking pictures (as you can tell by most of the pictures since she hardly smiled) Hope y'all enjoy!!!

In case anyone was wondering...I made it just in time to Chris' house to eat!! As soon as I walked in everyone had just sat down to eat!!! Yay go me!!! Hope everyone had a good "Gobble Gobble Day"

Funny story...

Ok so we were in California 2 months ago..and I get onto Facebook this morning and saw this picture that Justin's cousin Sheena posted. Guess we left one of Makenzie's pacifiers at Dan & Angie's and Louie just found it!! This picture is just way too funny not to post!! Haha

Happy Thanksgiving!!! Justin and Makenzie went to his mom's house cause of course I had to work. Hopefully I'll get outta here soon so I can take part in the family festivities and take lots of pictures.

Potty update...

So with mom being in town we haven't really worked on the whole potty training thing since we were running all around for the past week and all. Anyways last night Makenzie said "potty" and took off her diaper. I told her to run to the bathroom so she did and slammed the door and a couple minutes go by and I walked in and she's just chilling on the potty and next thing I know I hear the music go off and Makenzie starts clapping and says "yay"!!! Today she went twice in the potty all on her own. I think she's starting to understand the concept so hopefully we're on to something!! Let's hope cause diapers are starting to get expensive. Haha

Stupid Time Change...

Usually I get excited when we get to change the clocks back because it's an extra hour of sleep. I don't think Makenzie got the memo cause she was up at 6:30am ready to party!! I guess I really can't complain too much because last night she finally slept ALL NIGHT!!! She'll usually come in my room anywhere between 2 -4am and I'll put her in my bed and she'll pass right back out but not last night she stayed in her own bed!!! Maybe we're starting something new!!!

Animal Kingdom...

Today was Animal Kingdom day and even though Makenzie didn't feel good at all she still hung in there like a champion. On the safari ride she just sat there and pointed out all the animals. We went to see the characters and take some pictures and the funny thing is when we were standing in line she's saying hi and all happy but as soon as we got up there she'd scream and want nothing to do with them but as soon as we'd walk away she'd say bye. Hahaha. Makenzie took her nap while we were eating and after we went to see The Finding Nemo show and thankfully she woke up when it started cause that show was awesome!!! I thought sitting there for 40 minutes would be tough since she doesn't sit still for very long but she loved it and sat and watched it.

We both passed out tonight around 6:3o and she's still sleeping let's just hope she sleeps through the whole night and doesn't do anything crazy!! I don't know how people come to Orlando and do a theme park everyday for a week. We've only done 2 in 2 days and I'm completely exhausted!! With that being said I'm going to bed. Good night!!

Sea World!!!

Today Me, Makenzie, Mom, Kendra, Gwen and Christen all went to Sea World and it was a blast!! I think the best part was the weather was perfect so it wasn't so bad walking around the whole park. It was funny when we went to pet the string rays and she'd put her hand in the water but as soon as 1 would come up she'd pull her hand up and yell "NOOOOOOO" hahaha. All in all though she loved watching the Shamu show and of course the Sea Lion and Otter show.

Tomorrow is Animal Kingdom day which will be so much fun!! I'll post those pictures hopefully when we get back.
