Makenzies first movie

Tonight we went to see Monsters University and even though I was a little worried about a 3 year old at the movie it wasn't all that bad.

Day 4...

Day 4 of swimming was a complete success!! No crying, no running away and no complaining!!! When class was over she ran right up to me and says "mommy I did good I didn't cry!" I could see how excited she was and loved it!! Maybe she will pass this class after all. She even went down to the bottom of the pool and grabbed the red ring!!

On Monday Makenzie started swimming classes. She loves going in the pool so I thought this was going to be super easy for her but boy was I wrong. She basically screamed for the whole 30 minute class. Today was her 2nd day and she did better. She cried from time to time but not nearly as bad as she did her first day. I think by the time we go back Friday she'll be good. This was a picture Justin took while she was waiting for her turn.

Party time...

Last night was Jorge & Mari's engagement dinner at Opa's. Makenzie was so happy to go to the party and after a couple hours of being there she finally started to open up and dance like everyone else was. On the way home she says "mommy guess what? I'm stinky, sweaty and my feet hurt, do you know what that means? It means that was a good party!!" This kid is only 3 how does she know the signs of a good party??
