Update....

This is what happens on father/daughter day. She loves her some McDonalds!!! I figured out why she says "dada" all the time...he gives her fast food!! Hahaha

This is what happens when you leave her alone to eat ravioli on her own!!

She had a rough day at day care and didn't care if she had to relax on the dirty floor!!


This is the birthday cake I made for Aunt Sandy. I was very impressed with myself it didn't look too bad and it tasted even better!!! Yay me!!!



I know I've been missing for a while and I'm sorry about that!! Let me try to get ya'll up to date on what's been going on in the world of Makenzie...

Day care is going very good!!! She's getting better with the morning drop offs sometimes she cries and other times she doesn't. Really funny story, yesterday when I went to drop her off there was this little girl there crying and when I set Makenzie down instead of crying she turned around and stared at the little girl and Makenzie had the look on her face like "hey why are you crying? there's no crying here" hahaha. Her teacher said that Makenzie is one of her favorite kids at lunch time. Why you ask? Because she's the only kid that doesn't want to throw her food or play with it. All she wants to do is eat it!! She also said that Makenzie has the schedule down so good that when one of the other teachers comes in with the tray of all the lunch Makenzie is already at her chair ready to eat. Hahahahaha

She keeps getting more and more teeth which I'm kinda excited about because that means that there's a real reason on why she forgot how to sleep for the night. So hopefully these teeth will come in super fast so we can get over this stage.

For a while now people have been telling me that Makenzie's ready to be potty trained because any opportunity she has she takes off her diaper. I just kept thinking that she's way too young but then this past Sunday I decided to buy a potty chair and see what happens. When we got home I put her right on the chair with no diaper (which now that I think back it wasn't a good idea) cause I wanted her to get the whole feel for it. Anyways, she sat on the potty chair for about 10 minutes then got up walked a couple steps away and pissed all over the floor. What else would I expect since she's only 15 months old?!?!?! So it was time for dinner so she ate and then I decided to try the potty again and much to my surprise as soon as I put her on it she started peeing and the chair was making noise and everyone was excited!!! Later on that night I asked her if she had to go potty and she walked over to the potty chair so I took her diaper off and put her on it and a couple minutes later she took a poop!! Well that was really the only time she's done anything with it besides want to climb in it. They try to do it at day care but Makenzie runs and hides from the bathroom. Guess she's not completely ready yet.

Makenzie is in love with the show Family Feud!! It's so funny if she hears the commercial or the music for it she stops right in her tracks and starts dancing. It's so cute cause she'll even clap when the people give their answers.

Oh yea, last but not least she is finally starting to say "mama" she'll walk around from time to time saying "mama mama" you have no idea how excited I am now!!! She also points at everything and says "that" it makes for a very hard time when trying to figure out exactly what she wants cause she'll just point and say "that"
